T-3 Hunting Games  Rule Book

About:

    • This is a two players game where each player controls #12 Soldiers (White/Blue), the Game played in turns
    • Players decide themselves who starts first, Starting of the game, each Player places his/her 12 Soldiers in the two rows closest to them and in the two rightmost spaces in the Centre row (as in the picture)
    • Winning the Game:  The Player who takes out all the opponent’s soldiers wins the game.  Also the player wins - when None of the Opponent Soldiers are able to Move


Game Play:  Moving the Soldiers:
    • No Soldier can be moved backward (e.g., a Soldier in the middle of an empty board would have only five available moves)
    • No Soldier can return to the Golden Circle it has previously occupied. The Player moves his/her soldier from its Golden Circle to any adjacent empty Golden Circle that is connected by the White Line
    • Multiple capturing jumps possible with multiple Opposing soldiers having empty circles in the jumping points. If Capture is possible, it should be carried out, else player loses his/her Soldier to the opponent 
    • Once a Soldier has reached the Opponent's back row it can only move to capture opposing Soldiers – that case it can be forward or backward

T-3 Taming (Bagh - Chal)

About:

    • It is a Strategic Game from Nepal and spread across Asia, played with 5 x 5 Grid Board
    • This is a two player, asymmetric game where one player controls #20 Soldiers (Mixture of Blue and White) and another player controls #4 T3rminators (White)
    • During the game play, the players are to position the Soldiers/T3rminators at the Golden Circle (intersection of the lines) in alternate turns, Directions of valid movement between Golden Circle that are connected by the White lines
    • Winning the Game:  The Player controls the T3rminators wins when he/she captures Five Soldiers of any colour.  The Player controls the Soldiers wins by taming/blocking all the legal moves of the T3rminators. If a player makes 3 repetitive move (representing same position of his pieces) loses

Setup:
    • The White lines connecting Golden circles indicates how the Players move soldiers during the game play, Players move on of their pieces in alternate turns
    • At the start of the game all the Four T3rminators are placed on the four corners of the Grid

Game Play:  Placing the T3rminators and Soldiers
    • The Player controls the Soldiers start to place his/her Soldier in Free Golden Circle as his/her turn.  The Player controls the T3rminator starts to move along the lines from one Golden Circle to another. 
    • Once all the Soldiers have been placed on the board, the Soldiers must move in the same fashion as the T3rminators, one Golden Circle to another. T3rminators capture the Soldiers by jumping over them to an adjacent free Golden Circle position (as in checkers)
    • T3rminators can move to an adjacent free Golden Circle along the lines. T3rminators can capture Soldiers during any move, and do not need to wait until all Soldiers are placed. T3rminators can capture only one Soldier at a time
    • T3rminator can jump over a Soldier in any direction if there is an open Golden Circle for the T3rminator to complete its turn. A T3rminator cannot jump over another T3rminator
    • Soldiers cannot move until all Soldiers have been positioned on the board.Soldiers must leave the board when captured and owned by Player who controls the T3rminator. Soldiers cannot jump over T3rminators or other Soldiers
    • No Repeated Moves allowed either side. To avoid repeat move, Player to think about it and make preceding moves accordingly. The Player who repeats the same move 3 times loses the Game

12 Men's Morris - Morabaraba

About:

    • It is One of the Strategic Three-in-a-Row Game played across the Europe (as Variant 11 Men’s Morris) and South Africa (As Morabaraba); World championships are held in many countries
    • Other Variants of this game - Navakankari / Daadi in India, 11 Men's Morris/Morris across Europe - are SOLVED games, but 12 Men's Morris is Not Solved throwing great challenges as sport
    • It is Played by two players where each player has 12 Soldiers (Blue and White), plays on a board of 24 Golden Circles
    • During the game play, the players are to position their Soldiers at the Golden Circle (intersection of the lines), Directions of valid movement between Golden Circle that are connected by lines

Setup:
    • Board consists of three nested squares with Golden circle in the Intersections
    • Each Player having one set of Soldiers – either Blue Soldiers or White Soldiers (12 Numbers each). Board will be empty at the start. The White lines connecting Golden circles indicates how the Players move soldiers during the game play. Players decide themselves who starts first

First Phase: Placing the Soldiers in the Vacant Golden Circles
    • Each Player takes alternate turns to place 1 Soldier in the empty golden circle. The Player’s aim is to place 3 of their Soldiers in a single line – vertically or horizontally or diagonally
    • When a Player forms a line of 3 Soldiers – it becomes a MILL. Once a Player forms a MILL, he/she can WIN (or remove) the Opponent Player’s 1 Soldier from the board that is not part of Opponents Player’s MILL
    • If there is no single Soldier for the Opponent, only MILL is available, the Player can break the Opponent’s MILL to win the Opponent’s Soldier 
    • When a Player forms 2 MILLs or More MILLs in a single move or placement, he can WIN only one Soldier of the Opponent. Once a Soldier WON by the Opponent, that cannot be played again in the game

Second Phase: Moving the Soldiers
    • After all the Soldiers placed by the Player (of his choice of colour), each turn of the player consists of moving his/her Soldiers to adjacent empty Golden Circle
    • As in the First Phase, if the Player forms a MILL, he/she can WIN the Opponent’s Soldier that is not in the MILL
    • If there is no Single Soldier there to WIN after forming a MILL, the Player can break the Opponent’s MILL
    • Players can break their own MILL any time during their Turn. If a Player break his Own MILL, he/she cannot form the Same MILL in his next move/Turn

Third Phase: Flying the Soldiers
    • When a Player has only three Soldiers remaining, the Soldiers are allowed to FLY to any empty Golden Circle. 
    • If One Player has only three Soldiers, other player having more than three Soldiers, the Player with only Three Solders is allowed to exercise the FLY option

Winning the Game
    • If any Player is reduced to 2 Soldiers, he/she lost the game
    • If either Player having 3 Soldiers and Neither Player WIN any Soldier in Next 10 Moves – the Game is DRAW

About:

    • It is a Strategic Two player Game been played in India and spread across Asia
    • An asymmetric game where one player controls #15 Soldiers (Mixture of Blue and White) and another player controls #3 T3rminators (White)
    • During the game play, the players are to position the Soldiers/T3rminators at the Golden Circle (intersection of the lines) in alternate turns, Directions of valid movement between Golden Circle that are connected by the White lines
    • Winning the Game:  The Player controls the T3rminators wins when he/she captures Six Soldiers of any colour.  The Player controls the Soldiers wins by taming/blocking all the legal moves of the T3rminators. If a player makes 3 repetitive move (representing same position of his pieces) loses

Game Play:  Placing the T3rminators and Soldiers
    • The Player controls the Soldiers start to place his/her Soldier in Free Golden Circle as his/her turn. The Player controls the T3rminator starts to move along the lines from one Golden Circle to anotherh
    • First Player places the 1 T3rminator, next player places One Soldier (of Blue or White) and game goes on. Soldier cannot move until all the 15 soldiers are placed, but T3rminators can move or jump over in the board
    • The Player controls the T3rminators wins when he/she captures Six Soldiers of any colour. The Player controls the Soldiers wins by taming/blocking all the legal moves of the T3rminators. If a player makes 3 repetitive moves (representing same position of his pieces) then he/she loses
    • All other Game Play & Progress are same as T-3 Taming (Bagh Chal) as above

T-3 Hunting (Leopards vs Deers)

About:

    • It is a Strategic Two player Game been played in Southern India and Srilanka, having multiple variations
    • An asymmetric game where one player controls #24 Soldiers (Mixture of Blue and White) and another player controls #2 T3rminators (White) (Leopards in Traditional Play)
    • During the game play, the players are to position the Soldiers/T3rminators at the Golden Circle (intersection of the lines) in alternate turns, Directions of valid movement between Golden Circle that are connected by the White lines
    • Winning the Game:  The Player controls the T3rminators wins when he/she captures Twelve Soldiers of any colour.  The Player controls the Soldiers wins by taming/blocking all the legal moves of the T3rminators. If a player makes 3 repetitive move (representing same position of his pieces) loses
    • In the Start, First Player places the 8 Soldiers (of Blue or White) in the centre 8 Golden Circles, next player places One T3rminator to attack a Soldier (to Jump over)
    • The Game goes on when first player places the next soldier avoid attack (Jump Over) by T3rminators. Series of Jump Overs by T3rminators are possible. The Player controls the Soldiers wins by taming/blocking all the legal moves of the Two T3rminators
    • If a player makes 3 repetitive moves (representing same position of his pieces) then he/she loses. All other Game Play & Progress are same as T-3 Taming (Bagh Chal) as above
